April is TEAM BUILDING month! And wow aren't we lucky that FYP is offering an amazing Recruiting Promotion!

The main question I get from new reps is 'How did you get such a big team?!'. My answer is always the same. I
believe in the 'Build It Wide And Deep' motto in direct sales. What that means is that you build your first line
very W-I-D-E by consistently recruiting. Then, you work on the D-E-E-P part by teaching your first line recruits
to do the same. Think about it - if you have fifty people in your first line but none in your 2nd, 3rd, or 4th - where's your team? Here are some tips and suggestions on how you can encourage your first line reps to help you build your team D-E-E-P; keep in mind, if you do not already have reps in your first line - You WILL! Store these ideas away
for the future:

- Utilize FYP's APRIL RECRUITING PROMO. In six years I have never seen such an amazing promotion! Use it! Use it to help build your first line AND help your reps use it to build their own. Do your reps even know there's a promo? E-mail it to them! Do they understand it? Explain it to them! Share your knowledge and they will pass it along!

- OFFER INCENTIVES. My personal recruits always have an incentive to go for. Whether it be a Challenge that I issue or a montly promotion - you have to offer a little something extra to give them that extra 'uumph'! A good motto to go by is to give back to your team about 10% of your biz income. More or less, it will change each month - but you have to put out money to get money. Give a little to get a lot! And always, always follow through on your
offer (if you offer a gift - send the gift as soon as possible).

- BE THERE! I hear all the time of people who's sponsors don't 'sponsor'. Un-answered phone calls, no communication, no e-mails, no incentives, no nothing. When you sponsor someone, you are taking on a new job. If you don't want the job - pass that person along to someone else who does. It's that simple. If you're not clear on what it means to sponsor someone - it's OK! - you have to learn how to be a sponsor.......from who? From YOUR sponsor! Pass it along! If you are a sponsor and haven't contacted your team in a while - do it this week! Out of sight...out of mind.

- SET AN EXAMPLE! I put out welcomes for all new reps with their sponsor's name on there. When your reps see your name, they get excited! They think - wow, I made a great choice by choosing her as my sponsor! Keep your name up there- keep on consistently sponsoring and setting an example.
